MICHAEL L. SEGALE, CPA

Principal

Mike has worked for the firm since 1982. He was certified in 1984 and was an owner from 1987 to 2023. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Vermont. He still manages many client services, including business, non-profit and individual tax returns and is a contracted financial manager for various clients.

​He is a member of the American Institute and the Vermont Society of CPAs. He also was on the Board that oversees accounting firm peer reviews for approximately 10 years that ended in 2022.

​Mike has resided in Montpelier his entire life. Mike and his wife, Norma, spend summers at Joe’s Pond in West Danville. They have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. Mike enjoys traveling, golfing, softball, pickeball and spending time with family and friends. He has also coached basketball, baseball and softball in Montpelier.
